my adorable niece

It's been a while....... Well, nothing special for the past weeks and months......uni as usual, assignment, test, test and more tests to come........ Anyway, here comes an unexpected good news from my mom on a wonderful Saturday morning. She rang me up and surprised me with a baby photo via MMS. Yes, is my niece!!! She is born 2 weeks earlier from the expected due date which is supposed to be on 20th of September. I think she is too excited to see the new world and that is why she is OUT now. hahahah

My niece is born on 5th September, around 10.30 in the morning (weight: 3.1kg, height: 51cm). Quite a big baby huh??!! It must be all the nutrients she got it from the mother during the past 9 months.......

From the minute I got the news and saw the picture, I have a strong urge to log on to air asia website and book the ticket to fly back home to see my adorable chubby niece since I will be having a 2-weeks mid semester break. However, the price of the ticket is way too expensive. RM 3000....OMG, this is crazy!!! So, the only thing I can do is to wait patiently until end of November and rush home to see my niece!!! Wohooo....

Oh, once again congrats to my bro and sis-in-law. I m sure u guys will be a good daddy and mummy. And yes, I am an aunty already!!! hahahha...old enough huh??!!!

Jalan Jalan Cari Makan

It was my first outing with my high school mates back in malaysia since i came back for winter break. Guess what, i went out since 11 in the morning and reach home at 1am....hahahah...i have broken my own record!!!!
So basically, yen vern pick me and kang ning up and the journey began. Thanks to our beloved yen vern ya!! Our very first stop-Sunway Pyramid (no longer one utama..hahaha). We had lunch at Kim Gary. As usual, girls bonding session, gossiping, updating each other with latest news and also not to forget...taking pictures!!!! So, first makan stop - Kim Gary

Then, we headed to ss15, subang for another makan session. Yen vern brought us to this taiwanese dessert house called Snowflakes. We ordered their famous dessert - Cincau taro ball. It is yummilicious and i m going for a second, third, fourth and more and more time. Yenvern, bring me there ok??

Right after this taiwanese dessert, our next makan stop-Fei Lou Luk-Luk. It has been a long long time since my last luk-luk at the road side. After that, the journey continued. We went in to a bakery shop just opposite the luk-luk and yen vern bought some buns back home. Well, we didnt eat here but i still consider it as one of our makan stops. Since it was only 8pm, we decided to yumcha at this kaya bento cafe ( very similar to those kopitiam). As i said yumcha, yes i ordered a green cha....hahahahah and we had this snack called kaya char kuih. You must be wondering what is that?? ok let me tell u...basically it is jus yao char kuay dip in kaya spread. Well, it tastes not bad but it is just not my cup of tea. I prefer yau char kuay dip in kopi o!!!At about 9pm, mayjin sms me and ask me to go to yikee's farewell at Kayu Nasi Kandar at 10.30pm. So right after that, i headed to Kayu. Yikee is going to singapore this saturday. Met up with eugene, chong yi and yi kee. Guess what, it has been 2 and a half years since i last met them. Really had a great time with them. Then, at about 1am, i went back home.
See, jalan jalan cari makan ended at Kayu..hahahah. If this going to happen everyday, i m sure i m going to put on weight...ahhahaha

Moomba Waterfest 2009

Is Moombaaaaaaaaa again!!! This is my 3rd year going Moomba Fest at Federation Square. But, the only difference is the bunch of people i went with. The first year, i went with all my trinity buddies and that time we were still so blur and didn't even know what is this festival actually about. However, we still had great time there, snapping pictures, walking around, taking tram and train from one stop to another. OMG, what on earth were we doing that time??!!! hahaha Anyway, we really had great fun there. It is just unforgetable.

First year at Moomba

Back to the second year, i didn't actually plan to go since i already know what it is about. But, at the very last minute, my brother and his girlfriend decided to go there for fireworks, and they brought me along.

Till this year, me and my biomedicine coursemates actually planned it few days before. Besides that, Mayjin, who just came to Melbourne also joined in the group and i m glad that she can click with my friends so well. What have i done at Moomba this year?? Well, as usual, we walked around from one stall to another, from one booth to another. And guess what, i played there and won an adorable Huski soft toy. Well, actually i didn't really win the toy, it is in fact i paid for it. I didn't even threw the ball into the basket, not even once. But the guy just kind enough to give me a toy. Wooohooooo..... After that, we headed to the Yarra riverside and found a good place and waited for the fireworks. The fireworks were just awesome!!!

Oats-Cornflakes-Chocochips Cookies

This is my first homemade cookies. Mayjin came over to my place and we had baking session. We googled the recipe and came out with the decision to bake chocochips cookies. So, we went to Safeway and gathered all the ingredients and headed back home. Both of us really enjoyed. We measured the ingredients carefully, beating the butter and sugar together, waitng the cookies to be cooked and so on. Fortunately, the cookies turned out to be yummylicious....We are so proud of ourselves. HAHHAHA

Homesick

I m homesick, terribly homesick. Tears has been dropping since the day I touched down in Melbourne. Everyday, everynight, I think of my family. How nice if they are always with me all the time. Everytime I speak to her, my tears start falling automatically. I have never ever had such serious homesick before and I just can't help it. I am totally not in the mood to do anything. The only thing I can do is just thinking of them back home in Malaysia. I truly realise how important is my family in my life. I really wish you all are here with me now. I really hope time could turn back to 2 months ago and just let it stop there.

I miss you all so much!!!!!! I really hope I can get over this as soon as possible.

It has been awhile since my last update. Basically, there is not many interesting activities happening during this summer holiday.

Anyway, I really enjoyed my holiday, especially spending time with my family, relatives, cousins and also all my best friends here in KL. Time really flies, my 2-month summer holiday is ending in 5 days time. It is the time for me to pack up and head back to Melbourne for study. It is for sure that I will miss everyone back home.

Went to Central Park Avenue, One Utama for countdown party. It was my first time in my life joining the crowd for countdown. Had a good experience there!!!
